Himalayan Crystal Salt is a natural rock salt from the Salt Range of Pakistan. This salt does not undergo any processing and is not exposed to excessive heat. No chemicals or free flowing agents are added, in fact nothing is added or removed.

The salt remains in the form that has been stored away in the earth for many ages, from a time when the earth was free from pollution.

In comparison, ordinary table salt is highly processed. Microplastic contamination in salt is overwhelmingly linked to modern ocean pollution — a problem specific to salt harvested from the sea.
