A natural, unprocessed crystal rock salt from the Himalayan region. The convenient, robust and refillable grinder, with a glass bottle, allows for easy application on your favourite foods. We have recently (Oct 2025) upgraded our grinder to a ceramic mechanism for an extra smooth grind.

Himalayan Crystal Salt is a natural rock salt from the Salt Range of Pakistan. This salt does not undergo any processing and is not exposed to excessive heat. No chemicals or free flowing agents are added, in fact nothing is added or removed.

The salt remains in the form that has been stored away in the earth for many ages, from a time when the earth was free from pollution.

In comparison, ordinary table salt is highly processed. Microplastic contamination in salt is overwhelmingly linked to modern ocean pollution — a problem specific to salt harvested from the sea. Himalayan Crystal Salt is mined, not harvested from the ocean, and undergoes no processing before reaching you, so it doesn't carry the same contamination risk as sea salt.
